Mission Statement
Our goal is twofold: to fund research that will advance the treatment of childhood cancer and hopefully one day, eradicate this insidious disease; and to provide financial and emotional support to the families of critically ill children. Melissa Rose Kradin lost her courageous battle with cancer at the age of 12 in 1998. Throughout her illness, she endured the horror of her disease with incredible strength, maturity and dignity. To honor her memory the Melissa Rose Kradin Foundation was established by her family and friends to provide emotional and financial support to families of critically ill children. The foundation also funds research and other activities to further advance the treatment of childhood diseases.
